SINGER - ACTOR - STAGE MANAGER

Originally from Macon, Georgia, Brent Michael Jones is a Singer, Actor & Stage Manager. Brent loves air conditioning (thanks mom), a nice clean (emotionally driven) riff, & his best friend back home, Maddie (the dog).

Brent's passion for singing & performance began at an early age. At age six, he recorded and starred in his first one man show that his Kindergarten teacher played for the entire class. In the first grade, Brent auditioned for the all school talent show (which included high school students) after watching a Georgia native, Diana DeGarmo, shine on American Idol Season 3. Years later, Brent found his passion for theatre while a part of a summer camp production of High School Musical. Ironically, this production was also his debut as a dance captain, as the he taught the entire cast Kenny Ortega's famed choreography to "We're All In This Together".

Brent is a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. While at MMC, Brent was seen in The Who's Tommy and a reading of Charles Strouse's adaption of Charlie and Algernon. The highlight of Brent's college career was participating in the psychology club's workshop of Addy & Uno, a musical that went on to change the road map of his life.

In September of 2017, Brent was featured as RJ in for the developmental four week run of Addy & Uno at the 14th Street Y. One month after the show closed, it transferred to The Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row, where it played for another two years.

Because of Addy & Uno, Brent has been fortunate to work on other Off-Broadway Shows including NEWSical The Musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Naked Boys Singing, and The Golden Gays NYC.

In his final semester of college, Brent was promoted to the role of Stage Manager and opened the show A Musical About Star Wars in May of 2019. With this production, Brent has proudly joined Actors Equity Association.
